Sarah Taylor, the founder of Jasper Green Ltd., has many years of wide ranging experience in a number of different industries. Achieving a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies, she went briefly into accounting practice before moving into industry, where she qualified as an accountant and is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. After gaining years of business and management experience, she went on to study and complete an MBA. She is now studying for accreditation with the Financial Modelling Institute.
Accountancy was always a stepping stone and was never her ultimate goal. To that end, she has been involved in and often responsible for business strategy, data management, training, task automation, project management and a number of related areas, in industries ranging from retail to transport to defence to education. Her resumé includes large organisations such as Dixons, Tesco, Premier Foods and the Open University as well as a number of smaller, privately owned companies.
Her other qualifications include a City & Guilds Level 3 in Object Oriented Programming and both National and International CPCs for passenger transport.
Her passion is for going beyond the numbers to create a holistic and proactive framework which meets the current and future demands of operating in a dynamic and often volatile business environment. Her interests also now include learning python programming and creating 3D models and animations.
