How long is a piece of string?
At Jasper Green, we believe that every client is unique, and so are their needs. Standard pricing models often overlook the specific requirements, goals, and challenges of individual clients. That’s why we’ve chosen a different path – one that embraces the uniqueness of each client’s needs and offers pricing that reflects this individuality.
This means that we don’t have a one-size-fits-all price. Instead, we take the time to understand your needs and objectives, and the scope of your accounting requirements. This personalized approach ensures that you are not paying for unnecessary services and are getting the best value for exactly what you need.
We’ve seen many websites which offer you a general collection of services for a fixed monthly price but we don’t believe anyone can predetermine the exact requirements of each new client and, while this approach gives you the benefit of knowing exactly how much you’re going to be paying each month, it is also very likely that some clients will be paying more than they should and will, effectively, be subsidising those who are paying less. We don’t think that’s fair.
That is not to say that we don’t offer a standard price at all. It’s just that our approach to it is a little different. As a new client, we will discuss your requirements with you and, where possible, look at your document load and accounting needs. From that, we will give you a ball park price and an upper limit price. Each month, we’ll charge based on the hours worked and any other costs, such as software costs covered on your behalf, and invoice accordingly. If, at any point during the month, the work is coming close to the upper limit, we’ll let you know and ask you how you want to proceed so that you never receive an invoice that comes as an unwelcome shock.
After the three months, pricing is generally reviewed on an annual basis but either of us can instigate a review if the needs of the business change and the current model is no longer the best fit.
We also charge different rates for different types or work so that you won’t be paying the higher price for final accounts or insight reporting for any lower value bookkeeping work we do for you.

Please note that all invoice amounts are collected by Direct Debit on the third working day from the date of the invoice. Jasper Green Ltd reserves the right to pass the direct debit charges on to the client but this is rarely actioned. If the direct debit fails, the charges will be invoiced to the client and interest will be accrued and payable on the debt at the governing rate of statutory interest. We have never, in our history, had the need to invoke statutory interest on a debt.
Please also note that we are required by law to carry out annual anti money laundering checks on all clients. These are recharged at cost.
